Dr Ahmad is our Principal GP working full time. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has clinical interests in Diabetes, Minor surgery, Family Planning and Learning Disabilities.

Dr Hyde has been an esteemed and valued GP at The Elms for a number of years. She has extensive experience in elderly care and her interests include well-woman checks, gynaecology, child health and palliative care.

Dr Lazic joined The Elms in 2019, prior to being an Associate Professor at Medical School, University of Zagreb.  She is able to provide consultation in Croatian and has an interest in womens health and long term condition managment.

Dr Majeed qualified from University of London and has been working as a GP in Watford for almost 10 years.  She is a respected local GP and can provide consultations in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. 

Physician Associate

Majd is a clinician registered with the Royal College of Physician Associates.  As a highly trained healthcare professional she works alongside GP’s and the medical team,  providing consultations for urgent and long term medical conditions.  Her interests include women’s’ health, gynaecological conditions, asthma, diabetes and mental health.

Carlo is registered clinician with the Royal College of Physician Associates.  As a highly trained healthcare professional he works alongside GP’s and the medical team,  providing consultations for urgent and long term medical conditions.  He is able to provide consultations in Portuguese and has an interest in minor surgery and dermatology.

Clinical Pharmacist

Sohini is a valuable and well liked member of our medical team.  She has a specilist interest in asthma and hypertension as well as extensive experience in medication reviews.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma, diabetes and COPD.  Other clinics include cervical screening, child imms and travel clinics.

Nurse Citas is our longstanding Practice Nurse and has a specialist interest in diabetes. 

Coralie is a well-liked, popular phlebotamist and healthcare advisor.

Our clinical and management teams are supported by our dedicated & valued admin, secretarial and reception team.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who provides families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Please contact the surgery if you do not have a health visitor.

We have a dedicated Social prescriber linked to our practice, who helps bridge the gap between local agencies and general practice. Link workers give people time, focusing on ‘what matters to me’ and taking a holistic approach to people’s health and wellbeing. They connect people to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.
