Appointments Update

Jan 2022

Please be mindful that we are short staffed due to self isolation of some of our staff members.  We will continue to provide the best care and service under these difficult circumstances.

You can also book your appointments/view test results through Patient Online access.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Dec 2021

Due to current changes in government guidelines, general practice has been asked to prioritise the vaccination programme.

Rest assured we continue to provide patients with urgent appointments, however, any non-urgent appointments and routine procedures may have to be postponed into the new year.

For further updates please visit the gov.uk website.

Face Coverings

Please continue to wear a face covering and social distance when visiting our Practice.

All of our COVID-19 secure measures remain in place and this will not change when Government guidance changes on 27th Jan 2022.
Patients are asked to continue to wear a face covering, unless they are exempt, and to follow social distancing when visiting our GP Practice.
This follows the national Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Guidance for all healthcare settings and will help to ensure the safety of our staff and patients at all times. Thank you for your continued support.

Welcome to The Elms Surgery

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do our aim is to provide an efficient, responsive and a traditionally family centred approach towards our patients medical care. Our website has been designed to provide clear and concise information, making it easy for you to access specific practice details such as surgery opening times, how to register with us and how to get in touch with us.

You’ll find a range of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

In light of the Coronavirus Pandemic we have had to make the difficult decision to change the way we operate our services. This is to protect both patients and staff.

If you have an urgent medical problem you can telephone the surgery and book a telephone consultation with a clinician who will assess you.

Any repeat prescription requests can be given to your local pharmacy or requested online.

Thank you for your consideration at this difficult time.

If you need proof of your Covid Vaccination please follow the link below or sign up to the NHS App.  The practice does not issue letters for this.
